Pop Up Series offers a comprehensive creative hub, welcoming and supporting 5 creative teams in their endeavour to adapt unique Intellectual Properties (IPs) into compelling series. From January to August 2025, European producers and scriptwriters work together to develop their IPs under the guidance of top-notch mentors & experts.

How Does It Work:

The program is aimed at European producers who own the rights to European IPs, and European scriptwriters who wish to work on the adaptation of a series, and 5 to 10 scriptwriters whose profiles and ideas best match the selected IPs will be chosen. Selected producers and scriptwriters will be matched, and 5 international teams will be formed with 1 producer and 1-2
scriptwriters*. The newly-formed teams will work together for 8 months, both on site and online, developing the series projects. They will notably benefit from:

• A 5-day intensive bootcamp on 11.-15. March 2025 in the Grand Est Region (France)

• An 18-day Pop Up Film Residency in April/May 2025 in Europe (either in Faroe Islands, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia or Sweden)

• A 2-day Industry Showcase on 7.-8. July 2025 at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (Czech Republic)

• A series of online consultancy sessions

• All costs covered (travels, subsistence, and accommodation), and last but not least, a 10 000 Euros grant support per project.
